Panels opened from this menu are dockable and can also be used as floating windows.

Material Variants

Opens the Material Variants panel.

  • Each imported glTF is its own File. The list shows only that File’s variants
  • Use the eye icon on a row to preview that look. Assign Variant records the current material on the selected meshes
  • You can create, rename, duplicate, reorder, and delete variants in the panel. Full steps are in Material Variants

Animation Clips

Opens the Animation Clips panel (full export-oriented guide: Exporter Animation Clips).

  • If the imported glTF file contains animation clips, they are listed in the panel
  • The importer creates the corresponding animation clips in Maya's Time Editor during import
  • You can play, rename, or delete clips directly from the panel
  • You can also define new clips, choose the export source preference, and bake clips to the scene

Last Export Log

Opens the most recent Export Log from the current Maya session.

  • Useful after File > Export All / Export Selection with glTF2.0 Export
  • Shows export summary, warnings, errors, and recommended fixes when available
